It also gives working moms more time to be involved in their children's lives.

Another reason that women opt out of corporate life to work at home is that they wish to pursue non-profit or foundation work. This type of activity can be pursued out of the home and much more time can be devoted to an organization if you are not committed to a corporate job. The third most cited reason for women moving from corporate jobs is that they have taken some type of government position. This change does not necessarily entail working out of the home.
